THE NEW CENTER OF CULTURE AND RECREATION OF THE CITY

The project is a modern complex that combines the functions of a transport hub, shopping, entertainment and cultural center. The suburban station will be connected to the Gagarina Avenue metro station on the same level, which will create convenient pedestrian connections for passengers of various modes of transport. The station will be connected to the Kharkiv Central Bus Station. On top of it, a complex of public buildings is planned to be created, combining cafes, restaurants, boutiques, shops, galleries, offices and a hotel, and will become a new center of culture and recreation in the city.

1. A modern underground and above-ground transport hub for convenient exchange of passenger flows of various modes of transport.
2. A 100% pedestrian space with a developed bicycle infrastructure, free of cars, which will include various locations for possible recreation, such as pedestrian promenades with cafes, restaurants and shops, parks, an open amphitheater with a mobile stage for various cultural events.
3. A system of maintained green roofs that serve as walking and recreational areas, as well as protection for the buildings from overheating, and act as additional means of collecting excess rainwater.
4. Comprehensive improvement of the center and the surrounding area, creation of a new green area for recreation on the map of Kharkiv.
5. The facility is designed to meet new safety requirements: underground platforms and passages, shelters, warning systems, etc.
